COLOMBIA ADVENTURE with Lance Gines 2020
Colombia is without a doubt the most sought after travel destination in South America and the world, there is a reason people are not mistaken. Its sheer diversity, geographical location, weather and destinations make it a one of a kind spot in the world. Not to mention it is without a doubt one of the best riding destinations in the planet.
The perfect place for proper GS touring Colombia will not dissapoint. On this trip we will be covering beautiful less travelled treasures of Colombia. We start off in Bogotá and head to Colombia's largest fresh water lake: Tota. We will spend our first night at a traditional colonial hacienda, a place where Simón Bolivar spent some time during his independence quest. We will then head on over to the beautiful colonial town of Barichara. The next riding day will take us to an amazing river called Las Gachas where we will swim in natural pools in the rock formation. We will continue our ride through some beautiful back country roads on our way to a marvel of nature the stunning Ventanas de Tisquizoque and we will finish off at another colonial town called Villa de Leyva. The last third of our trip will have us going down to the Magdalena Valley and a set of beautiful cabin by la Miel river, we will visit a working coffee farm near Manizales and finish of with an overnight stay at an amazing mountain lodge with natural hot springs.
This 10 day dual purpose tour will astonish you and provide you with a unique mix of riding conditions and destinations. The perfect tour to discover the country, its people, culture and diversity.
